Link Hyperliquid

Trading needs one more step: approving a delegated key so taker can place orders on your behalf.

Go to Settings → Link Hyperliquid. Your wallet will ask for two signatures:

  1. Approve agent — creates an API wallet named taker that can trade your account but cannot withdraw or transfer. This is the key taker uses. It is valid for about 90 days.
  2. Approve builder fee — permits taker’s 1 bp fee on trades routed through it. See Fees.

Both are readable messages your wallet displays in full. Neither can be signed by taker — they require your main wallet, which is exactly the boundary that makes the arrangement safe.

  • A Hyperliquid account with USDC in its perps balance. If your funds are in spot, transfer them across — taker’s Balances tab has a transfer control, or use Hyperliquid’s own interface.
  • On testnet, get funds from Hyperliquid’s testnet faucet.

You can revoke the agent at any time from Hyperliquid’s interface, without involving taker. Revoking stops taker from trading immediately and affects neither your funds nor your open positions.

“No venue connected” after linking. Reload the page. If it persists, check you are signed in with the same wallet you linked — each address is its own account.

Approval rejected by the venue. Confirm the account has been funded at least once; Hyperliquid requires an existing account to approve an agent.
